I personally think that’s rude. I mean it’s a first date I’m not expecting you guys to be holding hands already (unless you’re into that that soon) but I think them walking ahead of you is like rude for sure.

If I dont know where we are going, I will naturally walk a few steps behind you. I have anxiety and it just helps it a little bit. So I don't find someone walking ahead of you as rude.

If they’re not walking away from you or avoiding contact with you, what does it matter where they walk? Y’all are going to the same place. You’ll get there together still.

Depends why they are, but ya I might find kinda rude unless they like know where they’re going and I don’t and like how busy the place is. It all just depends on the context really. I think people get offended and call things guys do rude so often. Like idk I just think people need to lower their expectations and not expect to be treated like a princess, but like a normal human being. Not everything is that serious. If you find something rude, just tell the person and go from there.

By the way, not saying I want to be treated like a princess or I am pretentious... but in the context it was in, I found it extremely rude. I was wearing uncomfortable shoes, which was my own fault, and we were in downtown L.A, which is isn’t all that great at night. Lots of homeless people and honestly I felt unsafe. And even after I told this person that my feet hurt, they kept walking ahead of me, not bothering to even offer me their arm. I felt unsafe. Safe to say, we weren’t compatible. (Disregarding the situation)
