So we’ve now finished our meds (Gonal F and Cetrotide) for this cycle and I’m doing the trigger shot tonight and the <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> is on Thursday. I left the doctors office and they cancelled tomorrow’s apt. I just got a call from the nurse telling me that the doctor needs to see us tomorrow to discuss the fact that I have 13 mature follicles and he needs to discuss the risks with us. I know there is a risk of multiples and I asked her specifically “ are you more concerned about the risk of more the twins?” And she said “ oh yes”.

..... I’m waiting for my husband to call me back so I can tell him. I called my sister and Mom and had THEEEEEE worst ugly cry.... I think the meds coupled with how long we’ve been trying, I’m scared they’re going to cancel the <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>.... I don’t know I just got super emotional after getting that call.

It all boils down to whether it’s a risk we’re willing to take..... how do you make this decision....?

Has anyone had this many follicles before and has been faced with this...?
