I suffered an ectopic pregnancy at the start of December 2018, I needed surgery to remove the right tube I was told, after surgery the next morning the doctor told me they had removed the tube and the ovary, at the time I was in complete shock that my ovary was also removed, I wish id asked more questions but I just broke down and the doctor assured me I can still conceive. Well now in March I’ve been really down every since and worried that having only one ovary and tube will really affect me. I contacted the hospital to ask question that I wished I’d asked then, when asking about the ovary, the Surgeon has now confirmed that he didn’t remove a ovary just a tube! I was delighted but also so confused how they could have got this so wrong! I’ve been trying since January and I really Hope this is my month, i feel really deflated at the moment and just could really do with some tips anyone may have on conceiving!
