Canadian mommas - ultrasound?

Question

I just found out today that I most likely won’t get any information during my ultrasound and will need to wait until I see my OB for the results (which is 2.5weeks later)
What information did they tell you during your ultrasound? Will they tell you what the heartbeat is? What baby is measuring at?
I had a miscarriage in November and I just want to know sooner than later that everything is alright..

I’m in sask and they tell you heartbeat and what the measurements are! Also depends on the tech but mine should me where the baby’s arms and legs were forming etc!

Hi. I'm in Ontario, and my sister is an ultrasound tech. Aside from showing you the heart beat they aren't allowed to show you /tell you much. Almost everything has to go to a Dr before telling you. 
Also. Fair warning, they probably wont be able to write down the gender for you (my sister can get fired for it because of people that have sued for their baby being a late bloomer). So you can't do the envelope gender reveal parties. And depending on your town (the bigger cities), or culture they might not be able to tell you gender at all.

I only got to see the screen at the very end of the scan and she printed out a pic for me (husband wasnt allowed to come in since it was a transvag).  The next week my doc told me what the heart beat was and how it measured.

At my 11 week ultrasound, they showed us the heartbeat and let us hold it and gave us a picture of the scan. They generally aren’t supposed to give you any medical info (how big you’re measuring etc) because the person doing your scan is most likely not a doctor, and it has to be reviewed by a doctor before results are given. So if they don’t tell you too much, try not to be too sad. You should end up having a nice experience and a picture of bb!

They usually show you the monitor and let you see the heartbeat. Mine didn't give messurements or tell me when I had a little problem.

I'm in Ontario. I've been to a bunch of clinics (3 previous pregnancies, 2 ended in miscarriage) and I've always found with obstetrical ultrasounds they're pretty open with information unless something is wrong. Then they shut up real quick.

Thank you ladies! This makes me feel a little better. I figured they wouldn’t give too much info, but wanted to make sure I got to see my baby and see/hear the heartbeat.
