Do I still have time?

I’m 41, my SO is almost 31.  He wants kids, I just know he’d prefer to wait a bit longer.  I’m terrified that if I wait I’ll miss my chance.  It might already be too late?  Has anyone ever dealt with this?  We are in a committed, loving long term relationship, he’s just scared.  I want to start trying 6 months ago.  Help!

Your never 100% ready to have a baby: career wise, financial, where you live, etc. Guys can feel that pressure to have things ready and provide, so he might be feeling that. Maybe some counselling will help him work through his feelings on this. 
In the meantime work on you. Talk to your doctor about fertility screenings you can do now to get that ball rolling, so you'll be ready when you need to be. And if you really want a baby and your partner really doesn't,  then figure out which path you want to take to make your life turn out the way that will make you happy.

I wouldn’t wait the older we get the harder it is to get prego and our eggs are running lower the older we are!  Use opks and temp if your gonna try!

I won’t wait any longer. I’m 42 and it’s has been absolutely nothing since we lost our wee one at 40. LH surge every month and period is on time and tests came back normal for my age (therefore older than pyramid). Best of luck to you.

Don't wait.I learned the hard way to not waste my dreams and goals and hopes on being a mother because someone else was not ready.if he loves you and is on the same page with you then he will be very understanding and ready to go to this journey with you and if he's not then that's something you really need to take into consideration.
