Was your family accepting of the fact you are ttc?

I would never tell my family that my husband and I are ttc... you’re basically saying,
“Hey family, we’re having a bunch of sex all the time.”
Kinda seems weird to me to tell anyone... it should be between my husband and I.

I never told them. I dont see a reason to go announce to my family that we're peeing on sticks and having tons of sex.

My family’s really open lol we knew when my aunt stopped her birth control. I told my family because the last thing they heard was that I wasn’t sure if I want anymore kids because of various reason and I didn’t want anyone to think it wasn’t planned like my first lol.

My husband and I were very private about TTC for the first year. Then as it became clear that the would not just happen on their own, we started to share our struggles with out closest friends and family. It turns out many of them had their own challenges as well. Having support through a really difficult time was incredibly helpful.
