Levonox anyone??

Anyone taking levonox injections during pregnancy?? I just found out I’ll be needing these and curious of experiences. Please share thanks!!

Once pregnant I will have to take it as well for my blood disorder. However, I’ve taken it post op for all of my surgeries and other than some bruises, I had no reactions to it. Needles are pretty small, so it’s pretty easy to administer yourself. Talk to your doctor/pharmacist about the proper way to administer. I learned that if I rotated the needle while slowly injecting it I didn’t bruise as bad/if at all.

Im not pregnant yet but have been taking lovenox injections for about a year. I have a blood clotting disorder and it’s the safest blood thinner for pregnancy. Other than my stomach being completely bruised I am use to them by now.

I took them each pregnancy. Needles were very small so yes rotating did help. Make sure you switch up a hip like take turns on a hip. It helps. Never inject on the same area. Move around abit with the needle. Other than that and bruises. They always did me well😊
