Not sure what I’m looking for with this post but here goes, long story so bear with me. Found out I was pregnant Jan 23rd with my cycle starting on dec. 29th not positive on when I ovulated though. Went for HCG testing presumably at 5 weeks and doc said my counts were way too low for 5 weeks. We kept tracking my HCG and thankfully they were rising so we just figured I ovulated late and my dating would be off.

Now at 8 weeks (still just based off my last period) I started bleeding. Heavily. We made our way to the ER and had everything tested again. HCG was normal but when they did the ultrasound the baby measured at 5weeks 5days. Too small to pick up a heartbeat even if there was nothing wrong. So they sent me home. I now have a follow up ultrasound in a week to confirm the viability of the pregnancy. But I don’t see how anything could be left after all that bleeding.

On top of that how is it that my baby is measuring so small? I was expecting my period Jan 22nd and tested Jan 23rd and got 2 strong lines. It’s now been 4 weeks since my positive test I don’t understand how it could be measuring only 5 1/2 weeks? — unless it stopped being viable a while ago and I’m only just passing it now?

Again not really sure what I’m looking for with this post I don’t really have anyone else other than hubby to talk to about this. Thanks ❤️
