So I recently got engaged (yay! Finally!) And I've been thinking about all the details and who I want in the wedding party. My mom and dad and stepdad are going to be more important than the maid of honor role so I dont want it to be my mom. And I have some ideas of who I want my bridesmaids to be. But I want my best friend to be an important part in the wedding but he's a guy. Is a male maid of honor a thing? I don't want to make my fiance have him as a groomsmen or his best man because I know he'd want that to go to HIS best friend. Obviously, I'm gonna do what I want but I just wanna know if that's a common thing? And what you'd call it?
