How is your due date calculated?

I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant and I’m confused as to how many weeks pregnant i am. So my last period was on the 28th Jan. if I take that date I am 4 weeks 2 days. 
If I take my start date and then my average cycle of 32 days it goes to 3 weeks 4 days
Does anyone know how they calculate it?

Hello. It’s calculated by counting 40 weeks from the first day of your last period x

Doctors calculate it as 280 days from the first day of your past period.

You’re 4w 2d. It could change after your first ultrasound though because that’s what is most reliable

You are 4 weeks pregnant. Since doctors don’t know the day you actually conceive they go by the day of your last cycle ❤️
