Taking baby on holiday/vacation?

Question

Anyone ever taken a baby on a hot holiday / vacation for a week or more? How did it go?
We’ve just booked to go away and my daughter will be 9 months at the time, an I crazy taking a baby that young away?
Any tips, how was your experience?

Not as crazy as leaving a baby that young.
And lots of us LIVE where it’s hot with our babies all the time.

9 months isn't young at all. But I've also never been worried about taking my daughter out and have been traveling with her since birth. We've personally never had issues with any of our trips. Even when she and I have traveled just the two of us. It's only as stressful as you make it!

Yes, we did Caribbean at 6 months with another toddler. It helps to have extra people to help! Lots of sun protective clothing and hats they will keep on their head. Blue lizard. We did pool, beach, excursions all day- then bath and go out for dinner. Baby had a stroller to sleep in. We had two cribs we rented. And a grocery store we loved walking distance for when we needed to stock up again. I think 9 months would be such a fun age to go with! It’s gets a lot more difficult with toddler meltdowns imo.

Is fine!
I took my babies abroad when they were around 9-10 months.
Flight was fine. Had ipad with cartoon. Bottle of milk and food and clothes to change.
All went well! As long as they werw fed they werw happy 
Is tiring for you coz u need to pack so many stuff! Mine were bottle fed so packing all bottles, powder milk, sterilizers...
Got a small travel
Buggy.

We took our son on a cruise at 9 months. It was awesome. He could eat all of the food and I baby wore him if we were out doing something and it was nap time. The provided a play pen and I brought our stuff for it to be comfortable like home. It was really great and easy.

You just need to try to stick to your baby’s schedule for bedtime, naps and feedings, and it will be fine.

I will be taking my boy to Florida for a week; he will be 11 months. We are flying, and I plan to use the carrier to baby-wear through the airport. It’s not crazy to take a 9 month old; its just a lot of extra planning. I don’t typically use ready to feed formula, but plan to get some for the flight.

I’m going to be taking my baby when she’s four months old to California for three weeks! That’ll be in August. We plan on finding accommodation with air conditioning, a pool and lots of shade! 
I also went on holiday with my parents when I was 10 months old to Morocco and they said I loved it! They’d set me up on a picnic blanket on the beach with a big umbrella and I’d just play in the sand 😁

I took my baby to the beach at three months! Drove in the car with her in the back 6+ hours just stopped more than usual to make sure she wasn’t wet and for feedings, It was hot so we didnt stay out long periods of time until the sun went down some or early mornings but everything was fine!!
