I am 8 weeks and 2 days. At about 6 weeks and 5 days I went in for an ultrasound at my local clinic because my doctor said my HCG levels were pretty high (118,170) for how far along I was. She thought I might be further along or that something may be up. I wasn’t on insurance and right now we are in the process of getting me on the insurance of my other half. When did your doctor want to see you? I keep hearing 8 weeks, 10 weeks and even 12 weeks for the first appointment. Is it preference for the doctor? I am planning to schedule one for next week or the week after at the latest to make sure insurance is all set and there will be no issues but am I waiting too long?
