Hmm... :/

So my period was supposed to start on the 30th of August and up to this day it hasn't. On the 5th of Sep. I woke up at 5am got ready and left my house at 6:30am to pick up my husband from work we got home around 7:30am and around 9am i used the bathroom and noticed i bleed so showerd again and put on a pad. Throughout the day i kept checking if i need it to change it but it was clean and well it never came back... :/ idk what this means... my periods for the last past months have been normal so yea this is weird... this morning i took a test and i saw a faint line i woke him up and he saw it too but we waited the past the 3 minutes and read before 10 minutes just like the test said but by then it was gone :( so we are confused... what should i do? How much longer should i wait to retest
