Anyone else have a toddler who is extremely picky and barely eats?

That's us! And it's so frustrating. I try not to be worried, but how can I not be?? The days he eats decently are now so far and few between. He would live on applesauce if I let him, haha. Ugh. Looking for some solidarity!

That’s us! He is very picky and eats tiny portions. With my husband we decided to follow the discipline that “we are responsible for what goes on the table and he is responsible for what he eats”. I stopped offering alternatives if he doesn’t eat what is on the table for dinner. However I will offer him one last snack before bedtime. I saw some improvement, but nothing great. 
We try and make meal time fun and pleasant, so no force to eat and no talk about eating this or that. I realized that he takes bites from things he would never eat, just because it is in front of him and he sees us eating the same thing. So the less I fuss about eating, the more he actually eats! 🤯 But still tiny portions and he stays tiny too (really short and thin for his age)

Right there with ya! I keep telling him he needs to eat or the Dr is gonna think I starve him lol I just keep being consistent about it. Still giving 3 meals and 2 snacks a day

Yes! I waste so much money and time trying anything and her refusing! Oh, and she hates pediasure, too! She eats fruit, Cheerios, cheese and turkey dogs. Maybe yogurt. Absolutely no veggies and sometimes she’ll refuse everything completely! She loves her milk!

Us!!  My son would live on pretzels. It drives me crazy he won’t eat anything. Some days he won’t even eat things I know he likes!!

Yes my daughter is so picky! She used to eat everything too. :/ I have been giving her pediasure when she doesn’t eat too good and she loves it.

Thanks all for your solidarity! Things have not improved around here whatsoever. Actually, things have gotten worse now that the household has been sick for 2 weeks -- not only does my son REALLY not want to eat, but I've not really been able to cook because I've been so sick (along with my husband). Ughhh. 😟
