For me it's like all 3 or at least during and after. I'm 6dpo now and still having pain and cramping on the right side

I've read it can happen before from the follicle stretching getting ready to release, during the actual release and after.

Yeah I had pain the day of and still 2 days after ! Almost like a crampy feeling but not quite lol

I get both. 1-2 days before I ovulate. SUPER painful when I do and then 1-2 days afterrr. So crazy but I love it bc it tells me for SURE wen I ovulated. Lol although the day I ovulate is a pain!
