So I had my “dating scan” today. I already had one 3 weeks back but I was to early at 9 weeks and 2 days so I had one done again today and I am now measuring 12weeks and 6 days. Baby has a healthy heart beat and looks all good.

But I am pissed off because the women doing the scan was an absolute bitch! She was ignoring all of my questions I had asked her. Was talking to quiet for me or my partner to hear anything she said! She was basically silent the whole way through the scan and didn’t tell us what she doing. She spent the whole time of the scan digging the probe in so hard that I now have bruises because apparently “my bladder wasn’t full” even though I had not peed for 2 hours before and I drank 3 bottles of water before I went in. So didn’t get any really good pics (most are blurry). And when I asked her if she could show me a potty shot she said “NO, I can not” in a very rude way and carried on digging that damn probe in my stomach so hard that I now have really bad back pain and pain in my stomach aswell as bruising.

I think a lot of people are getting confused. when I said she wouldn’t tell me anything I meant like she didn’t show/ tell me like “here is baby’s head, legs, arms etc) she literally just dug the probe in as hard as she could and swished around really quick, couldn’t even see a clear view of baby, got a crappy angle to measure baby and then blamed me for the pain and said “it’s your fault it’s hurting, you shouldn’t have gone a toilet before you came in” witch I didn’t even go to toilet for 2 hours before I went in and I drank 3 whole bottles of water!

I am in the UK and over here our techs are meant to show you all the parts are baby’s body and tell u what they are. They are meant to tell you if baby has a heart beat and then if you ask them any questions they are meant to answer them. I don’t see anyone now for another 8 weeks. So for people saying that she was right and I need to wait to see doctor. I am having a really healthy pregnancy and do not have a doctor for my pregnancy.
