About how many onesies do I need for my newborn?

Hi! Soon to be first time mama here. I’m due end of April. I live in New England so it can still be a little chilly. How many onesies do I need?  Should I only get long sleeve with the leggings newborn onesies? Will I need short sleeve with no leggings too? Do I need both? Any advice would be so helpful!

In the very beginning I used more sleepers than anything else, I had around 10

Lol no such thing as too many onies ... from spit up too poop coming out the sides your gonna go through onies like crazy

Sleepers with zippers! Nothing with buttons, all you do is change diapers and the pjs with zippers are the go to!

I had like 15-20, but my son only wore sleepers at night and had reflex so I didn't want him to have spit up on himself all day

When my little one was a newbie we had her in a sleeper with a short sleeve onesie underneath pretty much the whole time. I think I had 6 of each. Don't spend too much on newborn clothes. They'll be out of them so fast and probably in pjs the whole time.
