BC- Pill Club/ Nurx?

Okay ladies!💕 
So I’m 20 and getting married in October and me and my fiancé decided to wait for marriage so I’ve never had to think about birth control until now and I’m trying to figure out what to go with and even how soon I need to start before the wedding? Some have told me I need to go to a real doc and get a Pap smear, but I’ve also heard about The Pill Club and Nurx and I was wondering if anyone had experience with these companies or suggestions on what I need to do. I have no insurance and definitely want to be on pills. Also any recommendations on brands? I’m so new to all of this and appreciate any help! ☺️

I use Nurx and it’s extremely convenient - I’m prescribed Sprintec and it’s worked wonders for me (considering I am very sensitive to most BC). I know nurx charges $40 a pack without insurance each month but it’s worth it if you’ve got the extra cash. Planned parenthood would be a good option too, as you can get a Pap smear and discuss BC options. Hope this helps, good luck!

My pills from the doctor are only 20$ a month. And I don’t have insurance. But it’s good to go to the gynecologist and get everything sorted before you get married. Hope that helps
