Like most girls I’ve been planning my wedding since I was little. Me and my guy have been engaged for 2 years but I can’t seem to set a date without eventually changing my mind.

I have commitment issues and trust issues, so I don’t want to legally be with him forever in case things go wrong and he refuses to give me a divorce. (Yes that’s something I can see him doing) I love being with him but I don’t want to be trapped.

So I mentioned today, Hey how about we have a wedding type party, but rings for us to wear and still with the intention to be together forever but just don’t sign papers. Cause then we will get the party to celebrate our love but I don’t want to legally get married.

He got mad and said “either legally get married or no wedding” trying to force me to change my mind and I just simply and sadly said “... well I don’t want to get married.”

So now.. I’m gonna live forever knowing I won’t get my dream wedding party.
