Is milk still good at all after the expiration date?

It expired yesterday. Can I still use it tonight to make biscuits and gravy? Or should I just pour it out?

It's been 1 day. If it smells fine, I'd use it. Things don't instantly go bad the day it says it will, there's a little leeway

Does it say "use by" or "sell by"? If it says "sell by" then you have about a week still. Definitely sniff first, though.

Ugh, I always smell it. If it smells sour, its done. If it barely smells sour, it's on the verge. If just a milk smell, it's fine.

Smell it first. If it still smells and looks good, then it’s probably okay. If it smells like cheese or is lumpy, don’t use it

Always smell it but you can definitely use most things past the expiration date. If you don’t you end up wasting money! You can even use it when it turns sour for making pancakes! Yummm!
