I have endometriosis and pmdd. While at a check up with my regular doctor, I was having a very heavy period and I didn’t intend on talking with her about it, she expressed a lot of concern. She said I could become anemic from the loss of blood. She checked my blood work and I am anemic. She put me on a birth control until I can get in to see my gynecologist. Nine days. Nine doses, and I began having constant stomach bloat, but even worse, spiraling depression and anxiety. I began feeling hopeless and so depressed I started also having suicidal thoughts and ideas.

So I decided last night not to take a 10th dose. I rather die than continue to feel this way.

I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to take hormonal birth control. I was told I was being given the lowest dose possible in a pill. (veinva)

If anyone has been through a similar situation I would appreciate input.
