It’s an ice storm and I can’t leave because I can’t drive on this and my power went out. I called the power company and they say they’re working on it but it’s been an hour and a half and my house has gotten so cold. I am freezing and I don’t have a fire place. I don’t have any candles I have nothing but flash lights.

I guess this is just a whiney post but who cares. I’m covered up in bed and I’m a human popsicle

..it’s now been 3 hours

Edit2 this is too fucking cold. It’s so cold my cat is shoving herself into me whilst under a blanket trying to stay warm. She’s trying to get underneath me.

I don’t know anyone out here.

I’m packing myself and my cat and I’m leaving to stay the night at a friends. This is just too fucking ridiculously cold it’s actually painful. I’ll update again when me and my cat are at our friends house safe and warm. I’ll drive 5 mph if I have to at least my car has heat

Wtf.. so I make phone calls and update this post and angrily start shoving shit into a bag and my power switches back on
