I took my 1hr GTT yesterday afternoon (I ate breakfast and lunch and just had water within 2hrs of my test) because I had to have another Ultrasound to check some things. I’m 27w.

My lab result after two pokes to get my blood draw was exactly at the cutoff and the lab told me I need to schedule a 3hr.

Is that necessary? How many people end up having a positive 3hr test after such a close 1hr?

I plan to call my doc tomorrow to ask but I just want to ask around.
