Shower sex?

Can you get pregnant from shower sex? I mean I guess I know the answer is yes- but I’m wondering if chances of pregnancy are any better when you are lying down verses when you are standing up? Does the water kill any sperm?

Sperm get to where they need within seconds. Thus, position does not matter.

It doesnt matter the position you are in, scientific evidence hasnt really proven anything. Anytime you have unprotected sex there is always a chance

Any benefits of one position over another are minuscule and don’t really make enough of a difference to be significant.
The healthy sperm enter the cervix within almost milliseconds of ejaculation, regardless of position. My midwife always advises laying down for a few minutes after with hips propped, but she even said this is more precautionary advice. Like a kind of “it can’t hurt to try” advice rather than a “this has been proven to work” kind of advice. She did tell me that there is no best position for conceiving either. So do whatever feels best! :)
