I’m sick of the stigma about benefits

Cleo

I’m so tired of loads of people having the attitude people are on benefits because they are just “lazy and can’t be bothered to work”.

I’m here with learning disabilities, chronic pains and mental illnesses and I still fail to get benefits.

I’ve applied for PIP twice now and every time I get 0 points.

Their attitude is if you can get out of bed at all and be able to do a couple of minor things, even if not every day, you’re in a good enough state to be at a job every day.

I’ve heard stories of people with fatal illnesses being told they can’t get PIP. Even people who have cancer!

So how are people managing to get on benefits just for being lazy? I’d love to hear their secret.
