Timing of last bottle

Samantha

LO has been waking up around 5-5:30 every day. On a great day, it’s 5:45. Ideally for household his wake up time would be 6. I realize this isn’t much difference but it’s soooo annoying he coos and after a while whines for that long. I’ve stuck to my guns feeding him at 6. I read that if u feed him at same time every morning, his metabolism will learn to wake him up around then. But the last couple mornings his belly is growling so I think I’m giving him his night bottle too early and that’s why he’s waking up early. My dilemma is this: we have a great bedtime routine of bottle around 545, books by 615, bed by 630. If it’s a bath night then it’s bottle around 530, bath by 545, books by 615, bed by 630. I lay him down drowsy but awake after books, he coos for a few min and falls asleep. I wanted to avoid the issue of needing a bottle to fall asleep and I believe I have. But if I’m going to feed him later, how do I rearrange the schedule without making him dependent on the bottle to fall asleep?
