Does anyone know the reasons for a prolonged canker sore?

I’ve had it a few months and I had one on the other side of my mouth that lasted a couple months before I got this one. I want to go see a doctor but I’m afraid they’ll think I’m crazy because who goes to the doctor for a canker sore. What would you do?

I’ve had some that lasted like 2 weeks but never months. I would go just so they could see what’s going on and to make sure it’s nothing else

You’ve been posting about this at least since last night. You’re obviously concerned enough to be nonstop thinking about it. Go to a doctor. I promise they aren’t going to think you’re overreacting or being a bother. Get some peace of mind.

They shouldn’t be lasting a few months. I would go to the doctor. If I don’t use treatment the longest mine ever last is 2 weeks but typically I get rid of them in a couple days. That one also looks really bad. I’d get it checked

Go to your dentist, not the doctor. You can swish with warm salt water several times a day for a few days and see if that helps!
