What I did differently, prior to pregnancy
When we were TTC, I always liked reading what other women did when they successfully got pregnant so I thought I’d share what my husband and I did.
First, don’t worry if you ovulate late. I ovulated on CD 20 and still got pregnant.
I had been taking several supplements: prenatal, calcium/magnesium/zinc, Vitex, additional folic acid, D3, and B12. I had also been making better food choices and counting calories (about 1350/day)
My husband took Coq10 and a men’s multivitamin.
We were both sick at the time of conception and had been taking Mucinex about 4 days prior (I’m unsure if this had anything to do with it but worth mentioning)
We BD’d the same day I got my positive ovulation and the following day and that was it. No pre-seed. I did lay flat for a very small amount of time before getting up to use the restroom but I didn’t elevate my legs.
