Did anyone actually get useful items at their baby shower?

Curious as to whether people got items they actually needed or if they got 10 pairs of baby shoes.

I actually requested no clothing as gifts because I already have more than enough, so everyone bought directly off my registry and I got exactly what I needed:)

My favorite registry is for Amazon.  It just depends on the person some will some won't.

I told people no clothes and to please take a look at my amazon registry. Do you think anyone did? Nope 😂 got heaps of clothes and 2 million pacifiers. Thank god I was able to return some of the pacifiers, shampoo etc (brands that I don’t support, told people beforehand but still received them) and get products that I wanted

For the most part we did! People will buy you clothes and blankets and you’ll get a million bath sets too. We just took back them all actually lol. We put where we were registered on the invitations. We also don’t know what we’re having so I feel like that cut down on a lot of unnecessary items. My parents have kindly bought us the big ticket items so we were all set there.

People didn’t use my registry because they didn’t like that other people could see what was bought 🙃

One of my favorite things I got from my baby shower was Dr. Browns bottles! I love them.

Our registry was on amazon and only for useful stuff. We knew people were going to buy clothing anyway so we didn't put any or very little (like socks) on it. 
On 30 items, 26 got bought. It was really helpful. 
And let's be honest, wtv clothing other ppl buy it's never our taste. We asked for no pink / hearts / strawberries and got a ton of that at our baby shower 😂

I requested all clothes and diapers because I wanted to buy my big stuff and not buy clothes I got so much in all sizes up to 9 months and a few in 12 months and got tons of diapers I’m not good with clothes shopping I’ll only go buy his easter outfit and stuff so it was a huge relief for me.
