Six months for him while I get ptsd flashbacks nightly and have to check 4-6 times that my doors and windows are locked and my floodlights work and the alarm system is turned on. Not to meantion all the syptoms of depression and anxiety. Heard he’s with someone who has a baby girl. I pray for her every night hoping he doesn’t touch her like he did with the other four.

I dont want anyone to feel like this is easy for me, because if I'm being honest, this is the first time I'm sharing this with anyone other than family. It is beyond scary telling you all this so please, take this story's message as you may. HOWEVER it may help!
My mom divorced before I could even remeber, and my mom remarried to her high school sweet heart shortly thereafter, so really my "step-dad" is just my dad to me. He was there for me in many more was than my biological 'father'  ever was.
I would have visitation with my bio 'dad' every other weekend, that was about the only time I'd see him. We spent a lot of time together, he would take me with him to work If he ever got paged in (I know old school). A few years later he remarried and they had a daughter, my step-sister, Although she meant more to me than step-sister, she felt like my child. As young as i was, i felt this bond and protective nature over her, in a way i only describe as my own child. 
When that saying goes "always trust your gut, or instinct" we tend to go against that judgement, young or old. 
5 years old, 8 years old, 10, nothing you did felt right. It felt wrong. This wasn't what a dad and daughter do. Something told me that, everytime it happened. Every weekend I was there, since i can remeber, it was wrong. I need to tell someone but, who? Who would believe me? What if he found out I told someone? What would happen? But he was my dad. He cares about me right? If he says hes had medical practice it's ok then right? 
This was me then. 10 years old, going to doctors,therapists, and interviews. After I told my mom, she shared with my 'step-dad'. The POS bio was arrested. But It was a process, medical exams,detective in my home, all at 10 years old. 
I testified against him, the man suppose to be my dad. He was unrecognizable, not because of the orange suit or the chains on his ankles, but because the first and last time we made eye contact that day in court, his eyes went from a familiar blue, to black. It was almost as if a darkness shown itself. I will always remeber those evil eyes.
 My step mom didn't believe anything I said, she was forced to divorce the bio in order to keep my step-sister. She was only 3 years old at the time, yes, she was apart of it too. 
We were molested,by our dad, and from what was found, he started when I was 3 years old. 3..years.. old.. i havent seen my step sister since. I tried to protect her from the evil acts. I knew what would happen, I didn't want her to be destroyed..She would now be 19 this year. I miss her every day. I felt like my souls was ripped out of me that year. I lost evrything.i went so far down a dark whole I thought about taking my own life, many times. 
I'm sharing this for anyone who feels they can never speak up. I dont EVER consider myself more than anyone, I battled night after night telling my mom the truth. But I was so lost I figured what have I got to lose. Dont EVER think what have I got to lose. You ALL have a MEANING, a PURPOSE that God gives us!! Keep that instinct alive!! Dont let someone take who you are! Not EVER! Take it day by day. And always know there will be light after EVER dark  tunnel!
P.s. update: I am 26 years old, married now,to the most amazing man! Hes my best friend! And we have a 4 year old daughter who I cant Express how she really saved my life!!!! SHE gave me purpose! And with help and therapy and other means of working though my anxiety and PTSD I have grown. And come so far. And without my family I am blessed to say I am proud of my journey!! You are ALL strong!!! Have FAITH! in someone, in God, in yourselves, just have FAITH.❤ I AM a survivor!

I've got cptsd and D.I.D. from life long repeated abuse and only when I was a single mom I read put on suicide watch and given the opportunity to get therapy. There I learned that my life wad riddled with abuse. And I was able to stop suppressing some things, one of which was my exes abuse. 
He was extremely narcissistic and so very good at convincing me what was right and wrong. I've since then learned that high functioning autism is a primary target for predators... he sent me away to his room like a dog whenever his friends came over. He didn't want them meeting me at all. He says they'd like me and that I'd leave him or they'd do something. He constantly said he was protecting me from people getting in my "pants". But he used to rape me every night, same time. There became a system after a while and I got used to that room. I wasnt allowed to leave it unless to go to the bathroom 2 times. If I got to eat, he'd put fennel seeds in my food which ward usually top ramen with an egg. He said that I needed to eat the fennel so my chest would get big. Sometimes he just forgot to feed me though and I'd sit by the door like a pet waiting. He used my bloody handprints to stamp "my spot" on the mattress and would lick the spot sometimes while he masturbated onto me. He would rape me from 6pm to 4am or more nightly and if he was in the mood during the day. He cut me with his fingernails and after hurting me he'd sob and hold me like a baby and force me to drink from a bottle.  Often times he was gone during the day. When he got mad he'd scream at me and tell me what a cumdump I was and then he'd say that no matter what he would never stop. He said I was a walking tease and that my existence was to be raped. Thay god himself made me that way because of my tiny voice, milky skin and blue eyes. He said I had no one to blame but myself. Eventually I started having to figure out how to manipulate him so I could get away. I had to pretend to love him and be attracted to him instead of afraid of him and that's when one of my personalities took over and helped me escape. It took 6 years to leave that man. And never look back. But when I escaped a part of my brain just refused to face it all and I went on with my life. Only now in therapy am I realizing what I truly escaped and how lucky I am. But I'm so terrified of what he could be doing now. I feel awful that I never believed anyone would believe me so I just told no one. I escaped in 2010.

Sadly, the cop didn't report it like I told them too, yes I know it's illegal for him to do, but I'm done trying. My abuser kept harassing me, it me months and months after the cop calling me a liar, telling me it was all jut a misunderstanding, to build the courage to get a restraining order. I tried kill myself because I couldn't handle him making my life a living hell anymore, he would constantly go past my house, multiply times in a row, he even egged my window. He has almost killed me on a few occasions, would scream at my window. I texted him asking him to stop and he told me he wasn't doing anything wrong. His friends would constantly harass me, and his sister came to my house screaming and pounding on my door threatening to break the door down to beat my ass. I got the full 4 years, at court my abuser kept digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole, he would admit to raping me, but would take it back, I could tell the judge was getting irritated with him. Soon after that I found out I was pregnant, with my boyfriend we've been dating almost 2 years(not my abuser, he help me build the courage to get the restraining order) I really wish I could have taken him to court for the rape, abuse, etc. I will not do that now. He broke the restraining order so I called the cops they told me that I was being immature, and completely avoided the fact he broke the restraining order and told me my boyfriend should not be at my house. He is 18 so I can not kiss him, hug him, touch him in anyway. He was at my house because I needed help dying my hair. Honestly that upset me, my abuser broke the law and didn't even get in trouble, plus I paid for that restraining order.

No, but I got a restraining order and he can no longer go to any cal state or CSU. That was enough for me though. It happened at school, so the case was done through my school as well. It was hard and I ended up just leaving the school anyway, but I’ll never regret reporting him. I just hope he’s learned his lesson.
