2 Positive OPKs yesterday, negative today?

This is my first month really trying to time sex around my ovulation, and I’m so confused. I thought that getting a positive opk meant I would be ovulating within 12-36 hours. However, I put in this app that I had a positive yesterday and a negative today, and the app changed to show I ovulated yesterday. Would I have ovulated yesterday even though yesterday was my positive?

Also, how many days after should you have sex after getting a positive?
