How hard is it to learn how to drive a stick shift?

I am 23 and have only driven automatic vehicles. My husband is currently looking at a truck that would primarily be mine, but it's a manual. He said he will teach me how to drive it, but I don't know.
Is it hard to learn?

It’s frustrating at first (at least it was for me) but once you “get it,” you’re golden. I learned in one or two driving sessions. It obviously takes a bit longer to gain the finesse for a totally smooth shifting experience, but it’s totally doable and really fun once you get the hang of it.. Aaand it’s a badass skill to have. 🙃

Nope I learned when I was 16 on a permit . Ifs not hard . It’s a great skill and no one will steal your car haha . Just practice like anything else

Driving stick is wonderful. Took me a day or two to get it, but a few more weeks to actually master the smooth driving. Bonus for driving stick are.
1. No one can steal your car. Only like 3% of Americans can drive manuals. 
2. No one asks to borrow your car. 
3. They are generally cheaper if you buy them second hand because there isn't nearly as many people willing to buy them. 
4. You never get bored while driving. 
Even if you don't get the truck, I suggest all women learn to drive manual for one reason. If your ever in an emergency situations, you need to be able to get help. Let's say your friend drives stick and he gets majorly injured and you have to drive them to hospital. Or your kidnapped by someone and a 5 speed is your only option at getting away. My dad taught all of us at 16 so we would never get stuck somewhere and I have always appriciated that.

Not hard just takes getting used to and finding a good rhythm, so to speak.
I honestly hate it and will never buy a manual car but it's a good skill to have.
