I had a fall earlier this morning. Long story short, blood work came back positive that the placenta got damaged (I forget the terminology) and they said mine and baby girls blood mixed together. I have to go back to the hospital to get a steroid injected to mature baby’s lungs to make sure her lungs are prepared for early labor. Has anyone went through this?! Is this steroid safe? I’m so scared

Update: I asked the DR what the correct wording was and she said my blood tested positive for fetal maternal bleed.
