What was your pain level 3 days after your D&C? (Or D&E)

My husband and I found out at 11 weeks 1 day that we had lost our baby and had to have a D&E done at 12 weeks 3 Days after no growth and still no heartbeat being detected. I had it done Monday afternoon and it’s now Thursday so I’m 3 days post-op and I’m having the worst cramps I’ve ever had and I’ve always had the worst periods ever and they do not even compare to this! I’ve heard this is the worse stage of post op for a D&C and a D&E, what was everyone else’s experiences???
