Where do you put the car seat?

We don't have a small car (an X3), but my husband is tall, and the ONLY place we can put the carseat where it will fit without touching the front seats when he is driving is the passenger side. I wish it could fit in the middle! But I also think the LATCH system secures our car seat better than the middle seat belt would.

When we just had my son it was the middle. But now that we have 2 my daughter goes behind the passenger and son behind driver.

I drive a Suburban and the middle row has bucket seats. So, she’s behind the passenger seat since I am generally the one driving the kiddos all over! I can see her/reach her if absolutely necessary.

I have a navigator and ita 3rd row seating but no middle seat in the second row. It has a big console and cup holders there. So I put her behind the passenger seat. So if I'm driving I can still reach her if she crys or if I'm riding I can just reach behind me.
