Resting Heart rate 114bpm?!?

I felt out of breath and could feel my heart thumping in my chest while resting or walking/standing around my classroom. When the school nurse assessed me, my resting heart rate was above 112. I was sent to the maternity ward to be assessed. They told me to take it easy and sent me home. I am sitting on my couch and can feel my heart thumping in my chest with a resting HR of 114. Has anyone else dealt with this? I am 35 weeks with a large baby. Thanks.
