So planned cessation section. In hospital a few days pre op because baby needed some steroids for her lungs as she was delivered at 37+1 weeks. I was also GDM insulin dependent and advised heavy the a VBAC was not a good option, well not an option at all. So after a rough hour getting a cannula in then a really rough hour getting a spinal block and epidural, in they went and out came my beautiful baby girl. The operation itself was a bit rough due to scar tissue problems and the baby being stuck. She needed a little suctioning because she has passed meconium and her heart rate was a little high. I was able to have plenty of skin to skin in theater and she breast feed in recovery. I was sooooo shocked to see all of her hair!!!! I was also shocked at how small she was, being told how big she was going to be because of my GDM. She is a prefect baby 😁💕💕 so calm feeds well, sleeping as can be expected, her blood sugars are perfect!!! I can't fault her 😁😊 so in love. The angels gifted me the most stunning children.
