Hi guys, I’m 18 and recently figured out that I’m bisexual, last summer more specifically. I’ve came out to close friends, my boyfriend, and little sister, but I’m not out to family. I want to come out but I’m afraid of my family rejecting me. My uncles, grandma, and dad are all very close minded(no offense to all them, I love them to death, but it’s true) and I think if my dad found out, he would disown me. I was torn on whether I should just hide it from them or tell them and hope for the best. But it’s kinda eating me alive that I have to hide it from them. As I said earlier, I’m currently dating a guy and I figured I could just hide it until it becomes necessary (if I start dating a female).My family is extremely important to me and I would be crushed if my dad disowned me for it. What are you guys’ thoughts?
