I will be 10 weeks on Saturday. My first ultrasound was at 8.5 weeks. They scheduled me for a visit with my doctor at 13.5 weeks along with another transvaginal ultrasound. Is it normal for them to give me another ultrasound so soon? I’m a little worried about it. Are they checking to see if something is wrong? If so, wouldn’t they need to disclose that to me? They didn’t say anything was abnormal but other girls I know didn’t get another until the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. This is a different clinic and they could do things differently but now I’m nervous.

I am not a high risk pregnancy, no medical issues. I’m a little overweight but nothing significant. I’m assuming why this will be another transvaginal ultrasound rather than abdominal.

Please help ease my mind! Has anyone else experienced something similar??
