Iui at military facility?

Any other military spouses doing/have done infertility at a base clinic? I'm kicking myself for not having looked into it sooner since the cost is so low...

I'm getting treated on base at the Naval Hospital in San Diego. I don't pay for anything.

We are about to pcs to aberdeen proving ground and want to do ivf at walter reed as it will only be an hour away , 3.5 years trying, one failed TI cycle , fingers crosses

It was my understanding that tricare doesn't cover IUI?  Or is it different if it's at a military facility?

Ugh that's crappy! I hope they get bigger!  I actually had some bleeding so came to the ER. Here now, bleeding stopped but might have some cysts they need to monitor.

There are 2 in there though!!

I am treated at tripler army medical center on Oahu, HI. Everything is covered for my treatment so far besides the fact we have to go to a fertility clinic to have sperm wash. We go back to tripler for the actual IUI. So I just pay $99 each cycle we do IUI. If and when we move onto IVF it will cost us much more but still probably under 10k

OMG TWINS!!! Congrats Ashley, that's wonderful news. I'm truly happy and excited for you.. My progress is moving along. Went in Monday, biggest follicle is 13.5. That's the biggest out of about 5. Doc is hoping it will take the lead and grow so that I can have my IUI before my wife leaves on Saturday. :) so finger crossed that it works out.

I go to Walter Reed and its $100 which pays for the sperm wash.

I'll be going to fort Lewis in Washington (five hour drive for me 😬) and its $200 a pop and then the guy at the desk told me that the injectables I'll need are to be given to me outright...which seems insane because last time I paid a thousand dollar for injects :/
