When should I

When should my husband get a fertility check? I have PCOS and just had my first cycle on clomid. It did make me ovulate, yay! But I believe AF is coming, took a test yesterday at 12 dpo and got a BFN. So, my question is, how long should I wait before getting him checked? And if so, does a fertility specialist have to do it?
