Almost 2 years ttc
It's been a long road. At the "year mark" of ttc, I told my doctor about my painful periods and she found free fluid on an ultrasound by my left ovary. We waited 8 weeks to see if it would clear on it's own, and it didn't. Went in for an exploratory lap a month and a half later. She cleared the fluid, lasered some mild stage 1 Endo, and flushed my tubes. We hoped it would help us get pregnant, and it didn't. Here we are 5 cycles later and it hasn't happened. Just made my appointment with an RE for April. I thought I would be more excited, but just feel a little defeated. We want a consult done to see our options, but don't have the money for some of the invasive treatments (IUI or IVF). Is it pointless going in? My OB thinks they will suggest an IUI. I've already had FSH, TSH, Estradiol, AMH, and progesterone drawn (all normal), and of course my surgery. My hubby has already had a SA done (all normal, but low morphology at 4%). I guess I'm hoping it might happen naturally before our appointment. Who knows?!
