2 month and feeding
Hi,
My daughter will be 2 months on Sunday, and she is bottle fed. At the hospital, everyone told us different amounts to feed her, and as a ftm, I listened to all. Coming home from hospital, pediatrician said that she should be eating 2-3 ounces in one feeding. That day, I bumped the formula to the recommended amount. Since then, she spits up formula if being overfed. She uses finishes eating around 1.5-2 ounces and sometimes requests more.
My question is: is it okay that my daughter only eats 1.5-2 ounces in a feeding? Should she be eating more.
There is no cause for concern in regards to her weight. However, she comes from a familial history of obesity. I do not want her to go through the hardships that my family went through.
