Trying after miscarriage

I naturally miscarried at 8 weeks. I am going to the dr for an ultrasound to confirm everything has passed. If I’m clear, is there any reason I can’t try again this cycle? I know I will be ovulating very soon. I will obviously ask my dr but wondering what others did.
