When did you stop working?

Just curious and trying to estimate how much time I will get to take off with the twins. Did your doctors make you stop working at a certain point?

I’m a nurse and work 12 hour night shifts. My doctors wanted me to go as long as possible as long as I didn’t have signs of preterm labor. They said it keeps you “limber.” I tapped out at the end of 34 weeks and had my girls at 35 +5.

I was planning to work up until 36 weeks, but I started having blood pressure issues yesterday. Doctor is pulling me off this week at 32 weeks.

I was put on bed rest at 29.5 weeks had the twins at 34.4 weeks.

My doctor let me go out at 32 weeks on disability (full pay) and I was induced at 36w1d.

I’m the director of a summer camp but since it’s our off season I’m mainly at my desk all day long. I worked 8 hour days up until about 34 weeks. At that point I cut back to working half days because I physically couldn’t do it any longer. 
I’m 37+1 and still working 4 hours a day.  I think I’d go stir crazy if I was home all day. My c section is scheduled at exactly 38 weeks. My employer was very generous, by the time I deliver I’ll have been working half days for four weeks and they’re only counting it as 2 weeks off my entire maternity leave.
