Would/Did you stay?

Question

If you’re a housewife that caught your man lying and having an emotional affair, would you stay if he was a repeat offender or rather get a job and start all over?
If you stayed, what did it take for you to move past this as a couple?

I wouldn’t stay.. it’s only making u unhappy.. if he keeps repeating the behaviour.. then he doesn’t care about u.

I'd be Boo Boo the Fool to stay in that type of relationship. Many women in my life have taught me never stay in a relationship if the man ain't treating you right. Leave his sorry ass. It won't get better.

I would not stay.. If you stay you’ll constantly be paranoid that he’ll do it again. Life is too short to be going through someone’s phone and personal items trying to figure out if they did you dirty again.. I’d go find myself a man that’s loyal.

I say this because I went through the exact same thing and chose to stay.. please don’t stay!!! The same thing happened with me but because I allowed it to happen and continued to give him a chance after chance he then continued to disrespect me and cheat even more... if you do any emotionally, verbally, or physically cheating then you’re still cheating! There’s no difference in the severity of it. It’s going to be easy for him to do it again and he will since he got there the first time... you can definitely have a better life on your own without worrying about somebody you shouldn’t have to worry about in the first place.

I would absolutely leave. I didn’t marry someone on the terms that we could have affairs (emotional or physical) with other people.

I stayed and it happened for 4 more years. A total of 8. I grew tired of it and made him leave, was screwed for a few months and staying with family. Found a great job, people to help with my babies and am doing quite well without him. With someone now who wouldn't dream of putting me through that.
