I was due March 3rd & had him Feb 28th. My birth plan originally was to go natural & wait to go into the hospital until after my water broke. BUT, plans change. I went into the hospital once my contractions became consistent every 5 mins or so just because I was concerned about the baby's heartrate. Once I got to the hospital I was dilated to 4. Once I got to 7 the contractions were out of this world so I requested Fentanyl. That seemed to only make it worse so, I got an epidural. I was still at 7, hours later so I was given Pitocin.
