Follicle size?

Question

If an average, mature, egg follicle is about 18mm. Does that mean it's about the size of a dime??? 
I always thought they were microscopic. 
Do I have the right info?

Kind of. Follicles are tiny fluid filled sacs which contain the immature eggs, once the follicle is between 18 & 25 mm it is considered to have a mature egg, and the egg is released for ovulation. The leftover part of the follicle kind of collapses after the egg “bursts” out  and then it helps the body to produce estrogen and progesterone. 
The egg itself if only about .1 mm which is small but technically visible to the naked eye!
