So my period stopped 3 days ago. I had sex with hubby today at about 3 or 4. Then a 6:30 ish I was in Kroger checking out and felt a gush I just thought it was sperm because he came in me. ( even tho he was not supposed to I did have a pad on )

So I didn't think anything about it well I got home went to the bathroom and I am bleeding. Like the start of my period. And its red not brown or pink. This has never happened to me before is this normal?

My mom said its probably because i dont have my birth control patch on anymore. But its been off for like 2 or 3 weeks 🤷‍♀️ so I dont think it's that.

I am still spotting today a little only when I wipe tho nun on my pad.
