I can’t tell anyone or post anywhere else about this so I’m posting here anonymously. My BF and I have talked about getting engaged and married and having a family since we first started dating (been together just over a year and half), now keep in mind we are both in our early 30s so we know where we are and want we want in life. For the past two months we’ve really sat down and talked about it and started looking at engagement rings and what not and I’d finally picked out the ring I really liked and sent him a photo of it so he’d have it on his phone for when the day came that he decided to get it.

Well about two weeks ago he surprised me and took me to the store to pick out my engagement ring and bought it right there on the spot, the only down side, we had to have it sent out to be resized.

Today I went to see him on his lunch break, as I do everyday, and he told me we needed to go to the store tomorrow (store my ring is from), so I’m think ok he wants to look at rings for him which I’m happy about bc idk what he wants for his ring. NO!!!!! We have to go to that store tomorrow because MY ring is in and ready to be picked up!!!!

Now I know I’m not getting it right away and know he has a plan for when he does propose but just knowing that my ring is here and our plans to spend our lives together is becoming more of a reality makes me so incredibly happy and the excitement and anticipation is killing me.

This man makes me so happy and I can’t wait to say yes to him!!!
